Denver Parents Want More Charter Schools

The Denver Post reports that parents in Denver are asking the school district for more quality charter schools. Schools like West Denver Prep and KIPP Sunshine Peak use a lottery and the number of students not making it into these high-performing charter schools concerns parents. Both schools have plans to expand their programs, but such growth requries the approval of the DPS board of education.
