Sen. Peter Groff Named 2008 Champion for Charters

State Senator Peter Groff (D-Denver) was named a 2008 Champion for Charters by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. This announcement comes at the beginning of National Charter Schools Week. Groff was the co-sponsor of the Charter School Institute Act in 2004 and has fought for charter schools on a number of other bills. Senator Groff also serves as the President of the Colorado Senate.
