Miscalculation Causes Charter School's Delayed Opening

Monument Academy will be opening next Monday after a delayed opening as a result the miscalculation of how much the new building would cost. The charter school board was notified in June that they were about a million dollars short in funds to finish the building project. The school had already sold their modular classrooms to another school and so were left without anyway to open in August, as was originally planned.
