Today the Charter School Institute board unanimously approved the Thomas MacLaren State Charter School, which originally applied under the name of Veritas Academy. MacLaren will be located in Colorado Springs, serve secondary school students, and provide an educational program modeled after the Trinity School in Indiana.
The school's founders, Eric and Mary Faith Hall and Kathryn Brophy, have worked really hard this year preparing their application. They had a long list of questions to respond to for the CSI board after their hearing last month. Ultimately their hard work paid off with a unanimous approval!
