Charter School Facility Funding Bill Killed

According to EdNews Colorado Sen. Keith King's charter school facility financing bill died in Senate Ed on Tuesday. Allowing cities and counties to issue bonds to fund charter school facilities and allowing charters access to state trust lands have been discussed for years. Charter schools continue to spend operating funds for facility financing and have less options for financing than do school districts in Colorado.
